The first thing that you will notice about this restaurant is the servicepeople. They're all tall, elegant, and well-spoken. That's the general atmosphere of the whole dining experience at D.D.L.
This place is all about style. The menu is designed to be ordered as sets, no ala carte. That means they give you four or five different price points (68 RMB-198RMB) and you select one appetizer, one entree, and one dessert. All of the dishes are elegantly and carefully crafted -- perhaps not the best taste, but definitely the best presentation. The interior design is tasteful -- gold curtains, retro-60's English mod models like Julie Christie or jazz greats.
